Biography
Mehrzad B. Baktash, 26 years old, is currently a Ph.D. Candidate, Research and Teaching Associate at the University of Trier in Germany. His research interests are Labor Economics, Personnel Economics, Education Economics, Family Economics, and Happiness Economics.
His teaching duties include teaching Empirical Labor Economics (M.Sc.), Applied Microeconometrics using Stata (M.Sc.), and Personnel Economics (B.Sc.).
His academic background includes several countries such as Germany, Poland, and Turkey. He has a Double-Degree M.Sc. in European Economic Integration and Internation Economics from the University of Trier in Germany and the University of Warsaw in Poland respectively. He got his B.Sc. degree in Economics from the Manisa Celal Bayar University in Turkey and the University of Life Sciences in Poznan, Poland.
During his studies, he was awarded scholarships from different organizations, such as Deutschlandstipendium (Germany Scholarship) and Stipendien Stiftung (Scholarship Foundation) during his studies in Germany, Erasmus+ Scholarship during his studies in Poland, and Turkey Scholarships during his studies in Turkey. He is currently a GLO VYSP Scholar.
He can speak English, German, Turkish, Persian, Uzbek and Pashto languages. His hobbies are traveling, hiking, reading, photography, playing football, and drawing.
